Psychogeographical Research - Raedle & Jeremic at Centre Culturel de Serbie, Paris Walks stories

Raedle & Jeremic called his practice "Out-Prax," or "Research Psychogeographical" a clear reference to the neologism situations of "psychogeography". It is fitting that his exhibition in Paris take place in the same place in which Guy Debord and his friends stroll, before the neighborhood was demolished and gentrified in the late 50's. Something like what is done in Belgrade today with the settlements "unhygienic" of thousands of Roma families: a stated strategy of official plans for urban development.

"Under the Bridge Beograd" (2004) is a complex research project on urban space in Belgrade, which analyzes the potential of different perspectives and social relations in the city, involving a large number of contributors: Alexander Nikolic Rena Raedle, Ricarda Wallhaeuser, Maja Ciric, Karin Laansoo, Hanno Soans, Sinisa Cvetkovic Dragan Ignjatov, Zorica Jovanovic, Stephan Kurr, Vladan Jeremic, Predrag Miladinovic, Tanja Ostojic, Dr Agan Papic, Ivana Rankovic, David Rych, Milica Lapcevic, Minna L. Henriksson, Peter Jap Lim, Sezgin Boynik, Matthias Roth, Thomas Crane and Anna Balint. One of the many walks and interventions that were made was to meet under the bridge that connects the old and new part of Belgrade. The meeting turned into a "happening" that would last eight hours, after the Roma inhabitants of the nearby slums psychogeographers invited to light a fire in his neighborhood.

The exhibition "Psychogeographical Research" will take place at the Center Culture of Serbia in Paris, and was inaugurated on April 25.
