'Portscapes' was a series of newly commissioned projects that took place during 2009 in parallel with the construction of Maasvlakte 2 (MV2) in Rotterdam [51 ° 55 'N 4 ° 29' E], the extent of port and industrial zone of Europe largest to be held between 2008 and 2013 'stealing' 2.000 hectares of land to the sea. 'Portscapes' tuvo como eje central el leitmotif itinerarios y destinaciones. Creando eventos de escala y temporalidad variable, 'Portscapes' presentó performances, excursiones, tours con audioguías, esculturas efímeras y proyecciones, con la intención de desarrollarse como una guía de la zona portuaria, proyectándose hacia el futuro y Maasvlakte 2. El programa exploró past, present and future environmental, history, architectural, political and social importance of this area as well as import and export matters, trade and energy that are generated and managed on MV2.
